About Switchr: Luxembourg’s independent comparison platform

Switchr.lu is a free and independent comparison platform founded in 2022 to help Luxembourg residents and cross-border workers compare, understand and choose their everyday contracts: internet, mobile, TV, banking, energy, insurance and credit. Our team analyses offers on the Luxembourg market using providers’ official pricing and updates them every month. Switchr is published by WeSave SAS, a French company and insurance intermediary registered with ORIAS.

Our mission

In Luxembourg, comparing internet, mobile, banking, energy or insurance offers is far from straightforward: prices are scattered, terms change frequently, and the same service can cost very different amounts from one provider to another. Switchr exists to make these choices simple, transparent and accessible to everyone — residents and cross-border workers alike, in French, English and German.

Our goal: to help you find the best offer for your profile in just a few minutes, with verified, neutral information presented clearly. We do not sell any contracts: we compare, explain and point you towards the provider of your choice.

Our comparison methodology

Every Switchr comparison is built on a rigorous collection of public pricing and verification before publication. We always favour the official source: the provider’s website, its product sheets, or regulatory documents (IPID for insurance, network tariffs, official announcements).

The prices shown are public, all-inclusive tariffs collected directly from providers’ official websites, or drawn from official documents (IPID insurance sheets, network tariffs, BCL data for interest rates, etc.).

Our comparison tools are reviewed and updated every month. The last-updated date is shown on each page. As promotions and prices can change, we always encourage you to check current terms on the provider’s website before subscribing.

Our editorial independence

Our editorial team is 100% independent. Our rankings and recommendations are based solely on objective criteria (price, cover, speed, services, terms) — never on a commercial arrangement.

How we fund the site: because Switchr is free for users, we may be paid by some providers when a user subscribes through a link on our site (affiliation or partnership). This remuneration does not influence our comparisons: the order of offers and our analyses remain determined by the merits of each offer. Where applicable, partner links and sponsored content are identified as such.

In concrete terms: a provider cannot « buy » a better position in a Switchr ranking. Our data comes from official sources, and a partner provider is compared using the same criteria as a non-partner provider.

Switchr is run by a Luxembourg-based team that follows developments in telecoms, banking, energy and insurance in the Grand Duchy day to day.

Yacine Sahnoune — CEO & founder

Founder of Switchr.lu, Yacine Sahnoune oversees the editorial line and comparison methodology. A Luxembourg resident since 2021, he also runs Renov.lu, a platform dedicated to energy renovation in Luxembourg. Before Switchr, he was Marketing Manager at atHome Group (2021–2024) and led the digital communications of the French Government during the COVID-19 crisis (2019–2021).
