Samsung is the most widely distributed brand in Luxembourg with 27 models spread across the three operators. Galaxy A — mid-range

Galaxy A37 (from €379 at Orange, €429 at POST) and A57 (from €499 at Orange, €529 at POST) are the best value options. POST rounds out the range exclusively with the A26 (€299), A27 (€349), A36 (€379) and A56 (€479). At the budget end, the Galaxy A17 comes in two distinct versions: 4G at Orange for €169 and 5G at POST for €279 — only the 5G version taps the latest networks.

Beyond the Apple/Samsung duopoly, Luxembourg also welcomes Oppo, Xiaomi, Doro and Nokia — all primarily distributed by POST, which has the widest catalog in the country.

Book format (Fold) — Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra

The Galaxy Z Fold8 (POST: €1,999 · Orange: €1,999 · Tango: €2,075, device only) unfolds into an 8" tablet-sized display. Advanced multitasking, S Pen compatible, productivity boost. The Z Fold8 Ultra (POST: €2,199 · Orange: €2,199 · Tango: €2,279) pushes the panel to 8.2" and becomes the most expensive smartphone on the Luxembourg market. Foldable vs classic: who is it for?

• Foldable Flip: if you want compactness + large screen when in use, without paying Fold prices.
• Foldable Fold: if you use your phone as a work tool (email, docs, intensive web browsing) and multitasking matters.
• Classic (S26 Ultra, iPhone 17 Pro Max): better camera, more stable battery, proven durability, cheaper.

Caution: foldables are more fragile at the hinge. Luxembourg operators often offer specific damage insurance for these models.

POST — the widest catalogue

POST carries the largest smartphone catalogue in Luxembourg — 47 models sold device-only, including exclusives: Oppo, Xiaomi, Nokia, Doro, Fairphone and Crosscall. Standalone prices remain competitive on premium iPhone and Galaxy, and POST is the only operator covering the full spectrum, from the €299 Oppo A6 Pro to the €2,199 Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

Tango — flagship focus, standalone prices slightly higher

Tango focuses on hero models: the full iPhone 17 range, Galaxy S26 / S26 FE / S26+ / S26 Ultra, Z Flip8, Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Ultra, plus the Fairphone 6+ exclusively. Standalone prices are generally slightly higher than POST and Orange on shared models — but no-commitment GO Mobile plans can offset the difference over total cost.

Orange — competitive entry prices and regular promotions

Orange has the most aggressive standalone prices on the market in September 2026: Galaxy A17 4G from €169, A37 from €379, A57 from €499, iPhone Air from €1,129, iPhone 17 Pro Max from €1,399 and Galaxy S26 Ultra from €1,399. Orange is also the only operator with a refurbished range (iPhone 12 from €459, iPhone 13 from €489, iPhone 14 Pro Max from €749) and lists the Galaxy Z Fold6 at €1,259, the best price in the country on a book-format foldable.
